🛁 Release and Renew: A Cleansing Bath Ritual

Wash away what no longer serves you, and reset your energy

Water is one of the most cleansing elements. It holds energy, and it can wash away what doesn’t belong to you.

This bath ritual is for those moments when you feel heavy, drained, or weighed down. It’s a chance to release negative energy, clear your mind, and start fresh.

🛁 What You’ll Need:

• A warm bath (fill it as you usually would)
Herbs for cleansing (choose one or more):

  • 🌿 Sage (to clear negativity)

  • 🌿 Lavender (to soothe and bring peace)

  • 🌿 Rose petals (to soften and bring love)

  • 🌿 Salt (Himalayan or Epsom for purification)
Palo Santo (for clearing and calming energy)
Tea light candles (for ambiance and intention)
    • A black or white crystal (Black Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz, or Rose Quartz)

🛁 How to Do the Ritual

1️⃣ Prepare Your Space
Light a tea light candle (or two) around your bath area.
Let the flickering light set the tone for the ritual — gentle, quiet, and soothing.

2️⃣ Fill the Bath
As your tub fills with warm water, add a pinch of herbs (fresh or dried).
Sprinkle in the salt, letting it dissolve in the water.
If you’re using Palo Santo, light it gently, letting the smoke flow over the water for a few seconds.

3️⃣ Set Your Intention
Sit near the bath and take a few moments to center yourself.
Close your eyes, place your hands over your heart, and say:

“I release all that no longer serves me.
I let go of negativity, stress, and worry.
I cleanse my energy and reclaim my peace.”

Hold this intention as you prepare to immerse yourself in the water.

4️⃣ Submerge and Relax
Step into the bath slowly, feeling the warmth and herbs infusing the water.
Let the water touch every part of you, relaxing your muscles and softening your energy.
Hold your protective crystal in your hand (or near the tub), letting it absorb any lingering negativity.

5️⃣ Breathe and Release
As you sit in the bath, continue to focus on releasing — not just physically, but emotionally.
Imagine any negative energy leaving your body with every breath.
Visualize it being drawn out and washed away by the water.

6️⃣ Use Palo Santo or Sage
After soaking for 10–15 minutes, light the Palo Santo again, letting the smoke gently move through the air. Wave it over the water to cleanse it further, or simply let it rise as you sit quietly.
As the smoke clears, say: “I am free. I am cleared. I am at peace.”

7️⃣ Finish the Ritual
Stay in the bath as long as you need — until you feel lighter, cleared, and refreshed. When you’re ready, drain the water.
Imagine any leftover negative energy leaving with the water.
Be mindful of how calm and light you feel afterward.

🛁 After the Ritual

Take a few moments to sit quietly after the bath.
Drink a glass of water to replenish yourself.
Wrap yourself in a cozy towel or blanket and rest for a few minutes.
Hold your crystal close for grounding.

🛁 Why It Works

Water holds the power to cleanse.
The herbs and salt purify, while the Palo Santo and crystal bring protection and renewal.
The intention — the act of consciously releasing — is what clears your energy and helps you reset. This ritual leaves you with a clean slate, free of what no longer serves you.

If you feel like doing this ritual regularly, feel free to make it a personal practice. You can tailor it based on how you're feeling — using different herbs or crystals based on your needs.
